This Privacy Notice describes how Shift AI Ltd (“Shift”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit or contact us via this website. For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, “you” or “your” means you as a user, whether you are just a visitor, a customer or another individual whose information we collect pursuant to this Privacy Notice.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website does not set cookies for advertising, tracking, or analytics, and we do not run any analytics platform. Our hosting infrastructure generates standard technical logs, including IP addresses, browser types, and request timestamps. This is part of our normal server operation. Where retained, these logs are used only for security and abuse prevention and are kept for no longer than 90 days, after which they are deleted or anonymised. We retain them on the basis of our legitimate interests in preserving security and preventing abuse.

How We Use and Share Your Information

We do not operate any forms or sign-up mechanisms on this site. The only route to contact us from the website is the “Talk to our humans” link, which opens your own email client to humans@shiftco.ai.

If you email us, we process the contents of your message and your email address to respond to your enquiry and to progress any resulting discussion. We do this based on our legitimate interests in operating our business, responding to enquiries and pursuing commercial opportunities raised with us.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We use third-party providers to host our website and email infrastructure, who process data on our behalf under contract. Beyond this, we do not share your information with third parties except where necessary to respond to your enquiry.

We do not use your information for marketing without your separate consent, which you may withdraw at any time by contacting humans@shiftco.ai.

How Long We Keep It

We retain enquiry correspondence for the duration of any resulting engagement or relationship, plus up to six years afterwards to meet legal, accounting, or contractual record-keeping obligations. Where an enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we retain it for up to two years before deletion.

International Transfers

Our website is served via a content delivery network which may process technical data, including IP addresses, at locations outside the UK, including in the United States. This means some of your personal data may leave the UK when you visit our site.

Our email correspondence is hosted in the UK, though certain automated email security functions may involve processing outside the UK. Where transfers occur, we rely on the safeguards embedded in our providers' standard data protection terms, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
